Description
Gift to my husband 1962 by his grandparents. Bought in LaJolla Calif in 1962. His grandparents were in the same social circles with Theodor Seuss Geisel. My husbands grandfather was Titus George LeClair of LaJolla, CA., a renowned electrical engineer in his time. The book is in great condition, price clipped on inside sleeve. Sleeve spine has tear at the top (you can see in 1st photo) Also looks like pencil point holes along front cover of spine, other than that, looks very good for 50 yr old childrens book. All pages are extremely clean, with no pen marks or tears. Dr. Seuss's signature has a nice underlining from inscription to his signature, much to the same squiggly as the underlining on the back page on hardcover.
